Our new 50mm dynamic driver, assembled and tuned with ultimate precision, allowed us to push the boundaries of speed, accuracy, and dynamic range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade of cellulose composite enforced with carbon fiber, the \u003cstrong\u003eW-shaped dome\u003c\/strong\u003e is able to reproduce high-frequencies with incredible detail, clarity and definition. More durable than conventional alternatives used in dynamic drivers, yet lightweight, this composite helps us avoid resonances that may lead to harmonic distortion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ultra-thin \u003cstrong\u003etorus\u003c\/strong\u003e surrounding the dome is composed of Beryllium-coated semi crystalline polymer, measuring 22 microns in thickness. With the Beryllium coating applied through Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), we aimed to increase the stiffness and durability of the driver, while still keeping it light enough to achieve a fast transient response.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeryllium's high damping qualities also help suppress unwanted resonances, giving the 109 PRO its neutral, vivid and transparent character.
